My real name is Teal!
Did you have any previous athletic or skating experience before starting roller derby?
I have danced for a long time and still do, but other than that my only athletic experience was JV soccer for three years in high school and messing around in middle school tennis. As far as skating experience, I was definitely a scaredy cat wall-clinger growing up going to the skating rink and never felt super confident on wheels. I wanted to learn to skate as an adult and after going to several Learn to Skate classes with little kids at Astro Skate, I decided I needed to learn around grown-ups in a sport that would force me to get over being scared to fall!

I love my glitter S-1 helmet! — anything glittery, I’m in love
We all end up in the penalty box at some point. Which penalty is your favorite and why?
None because I like following the rules like a good girl and don’t want the refs mad at me
What’s your favorite Orlando theme park ride?
Tie between Space Mountain at Disney and Hagrid’s Motorbike at Universal
What’s your favorite Orlando activity that isn’t a theme park?
Anything Orlando Roller Derby related; going dancing or doing karaoke; spending time outside in our parks or downtown at Lake Eola
