Is there a story behind your name?
Living in the south I’ve gotten some pretty funny pronunciations of my nickname Tati, so I stuck with that for derby as a punny reference which gave me Hot Toddy!
Did you have any previous athletic or skating experience before starting roller derby?
I’ve played sports all my life, most recently graduating from my school varsity volleyball team.
Tell us about your gear!
I’ve most recently leveled up to some Motta skates that fit like a glove. Before that I only wore and had one other pair of skates which I still have and love!
We all end up in the penalty box at some point. Which penalty is your favorite and why?
My most common penally is a directional, I love playing offense so I get a little overzealous sometimes!
What’s your favorite Orlando theme park ride?
Universal Studios Island of Adventure!
What’s your favorite Orlando activity that isn’t a theme park?
I love getting a good bowl of pho, I have yet to find the best spot in Orlando but I’m slowly working on that!
Everyone loves restaurant recommendations, which Orlando area restaurant would you tell people to check out?
I love a good Butter Beer from Universal, or some tasty Voo-Doo Donuts!
