Is there a story behind your name?
I have been obsessed with dragons since I’ve been 10. They are cool looking, powerful, and fantastic – everything I strive to be. I wanted some sortve skating pun so I also included “roll” at the end, which led to my nickname of “Sushi” since dragon roll is a type of delicious sushi! And that works since sushi is my favorite type of food!
Did you have any previous athletic or skating background before starting roller derby?
In middle school I used to be on a swim team! Funny enough, my team name was Seadragons.
Tell us about your gear!
I love my helmet because it gives me more surface area for stickers.
We all end up in the penalty box at some point. Which penalty is your favorite and why?
My favorite penalty is running into someone totally straight and getting a back block.. It forces me to work on remembering on hitting legal areas!
What’s your favorite Orlando theme park ride?
It used to be Dueling Dragons of course. Since thats been closed, The Hulk is the way to go!
What’s your favorite Orlando activity that isn’t a theme park?
Winter Garden farmers market on Saturdays
Everyone loves restaurant recommendations. Which Orlando area restaurant would you tell people to check out?
Domu Ramen. Make sure you get their Korean fried wings as an appetizer!
