Is there a story behind your name?
I love Dragons, I love sushi, and I wanted something punny that had to do with derby… Thus Dragon Roll (a name of a type of sushi) was born.
Did you have any previous athletic or skating background before starting roller derby?
Nope! I knew basic roller and ice skating but that’s it.
Tell us about your gear!
Getting the gum drop toe stops really changed my life. Since they’re bigger, I felt like more grip helped me be more stable and confident.
