Is there a story behind your name?
Yes, my first coach said “I have a name that I feel fits you, Jalapeño Business.” It’s took a second for me to understand but when I played it over in my head I got it and loved it!
Did you have any previous athletic or skating experience before starting roller derby?
I grew up just roller skating at the skate rink in the Bronx, NY called “Skate Key”. I wasn’t the best but my whole family loved doing that.
Tell us about your gear!
I love my skates and I refuse to buy new ones until I absolutely have to! I have been skating on them since 2015.

What’s your favorite Orlando activity that isn’t a theme park?
I love doing promotional events with my sister/best friend. I am a brand ambassador for her organization “The Key Entertainment”. It is a 501C3 that is working toward opening a community center here in Orlando for teens to have somewhere to go. We are currently ready for the first concert to raise funds on June 21.
Everyone loves restaurant recommendations, which Orlando area restaurant would you tell people to check out?
Honestly I love Celebration Town Tavern in the town of Celebration. It is yummy.
