All the good band-derby puns are taken so I did a band one in support of my wife, who also plays roller derby.
Did you have any previous athletic or skating background before starting roller derby?
Not much before derby, unless you count skateboarding. Once in Derby, I joined a Crossfit cult … I mean gym to keep up with everyone else
Tell us about your gear!
Custom Chaya Eclipse skates with an Arius platinum plate, specifically to have harder cushions in the front and softer ones in the back (like a skateboard) I use some generic 93 wheels and bearings that came with another pair of skates.
We all end up in the penalty box at some point. Which penalty is your favorite and why?
The one that requires an official review because nobody has any idea what you just did, let alone if it was legal or not.
What’s your favorite Orlando theme park ride?
Space Mountain (the 2024 version that rides a lot rougher than what you remember as a kid)
What’s your favorite Orlando activity that isn’t a theme park?
Riding the Sunrail
