Is there a story behind your name?
My original derby name was Flux Decapitat’r, but everyone called me Flux for short. ReFlux felt like the next evolution since I’m back after being away from the sport for nearly a decade…think “Return of Flux” meets “Reflex” vibes, but also I’m old now and need antacids.
Did you have any previous athletic or skating background before starting roller derby?
I have always been sporty in general and have been particularly into running the past decade or so.

Having a hockey helmet with a visor has been a game-changer for me, especially as a shorter skater!
