Is there a story behind your name?
Mostly, I just really like cats! I have my own cat named Goose who is a gray tabby, hence that part of my name.
Did you have any previous athletic or skating background before starting roller derby?
I’ve been skating on and off since I was like, seven, but I got my own pair of skates when I turned 16 and I started skating more often then. As for other sports, I played soccer and volleyball for a few years, and I was in gymnastics for a while. I was also in marching band for the entire duration of high school if that counts lol.
We all end up in the penalty box at some point. Which penalty is your favorite and why?
I think the penalties I get are mostly forearms and directionals, so between those two my favorite would have to be forearms. I never realize I’m doing them until it’s too late lol
